“Lovely home away from home.”

Had a very lovely stay at the Whalers Cottage - I didn't want to leave!! Across the road from the beach and a small café to get your coffee fix. A big Woolworths 5 mins drive away. The cottage is decked out beautifully. There isn't any Wi-Fi and I had terrible phone reception. Made it tricky to google directions & searching for food options. Would highly recommend!! I will definitely go back.

We just love this wonderful cottage for it's simplicity, warmth, attention to detail and depth of history.Everything you need is provided and the property is absolutely comfortable, clean, private and feels like home. Our second stay was just as wonderful as our first. Perfect location by Hyams Beach with views to the ocean from the upstairs balcony. There are absolutely zero negatives..none. Scores 11/10. You would be hard pressed to find better in it's category.

“A Great Place to Stay.”

The Whalers Cottage was all we hoped for and more. Spacious, comfortable, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is ideally situated for the beach and convenient for exploring the surrounding area of Jervis Bay. We enjoyed the outside space and it was very quiet. We would thoroughly recommend this property. Some more clothes hangers would have been appreciated, but apart from that our stay was perfect.

The Whalers Cottage at Hyam's Beach is just perfect! It surpassed the descriptions and photo's on the web site. There was absolutely everything you could possibly need, a kitchen with every pot, pan & utensil you could need, DVD's, games, books, extra blankets, etc. The cottage is so gorgeously decorated, with lots of beautiful little 'seaside' touches and colours. Lovely Hyam's Beach is a very short stroll away (about 3 minutes). This cottage is the perfect getaway and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend to escape the rat-race, and we are already thinking about how we can make space to do it all again. The cottage is gorgeous, so we'll appointed, and the perfect combination of casualness and luxury. We cannot recommend it more highly - whether for a romantic getaway, or just a weekend hiding from hubbies and kids!

“A Quaint and Tranquil Cottage!”

The cottage was beautifully decorated and very functional. The kitchen was fully equipped where we could spend quality time together cooking and enjoying some home cooked meals. Both bedrooms were clean and well presented. Our overseas visitors had the bedroom upstairs and they had the best balcony looking over the ocean. The cottage was less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. We went stargazing on the beach one night and it was magical. The cottage was also equipped with boxes of DVDs, stacks of books and CDs. Not a dull moment, lots of fun, laughter and tranquility. Highly recommended!
